  • After the Battle: Reintegration and Support for Women Defenders after Returning From the Frontline

The reintegration of combatants into civilian life is a challenge for all states that have faced war. During the ten years of occupation and hostilities on our territory, Ukraine has been developing relevant policies and infrastructure.

Business and civil society are not standing aside. Today, we will tell you about the support and opportunities for women veterans using Nota Group’s initiatives as an example. “Yes, we focused specifically on women,” says Tetiana Andrianova, “there are more than 60,000 of them serving in the Armed Forces. By this indicator, we are in the highest positions among the world’s armies, including NATO armies.”

What kind of protection do women veterans require? This is:

  • Psychological rehabilitation;
  • Legal protection;
  • Social adaptation;
  • Professional support

“The ongoing war and Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine have changed everything: our perception of reality, our aspirations and priorities,” continues Tetiana Andrianova.

«“So, the Nota Groupteam naturally faced the question: what can we do for the Victory and to support those who bring it closer every day? We found the answers and translated them into specific projects, which I urge veterans and their families to join.”
